BIOGRAPHY

SYLVIE MANGAUD

Sylvie Mangaud's sculptures accurately represent motions, attitudes and gestures, focusing on the female body and its essence. Poetic and playful – sometimes even ironic – her nudes and shadows immortalize the moment and allow us to observe the subtleties and proportions more carefully. Mangaud's animals are also a common theme, exploring nature's grandiosity and gracefulness. Mangaud's lightness and gentleness in sculpting materials such as bronze and crystal bring her work to life.
